Learn about reuse and recycling markets for construction and demolition debris. Information will be provided about current efforts to recover construction and demolition materials in Connecticut and how we can recover more. DEP has a number of new resources for building and demolition contractors, home owners and municipal officials that manage solid waste.
Bio:
Sherill Baldwin of CT DEP facilitates the CT Materials Reuse Network and the Gypsum Wallboard Recycling group working to increase recovery of C & D through reuse and recycling. She’s the Chair of DECON ’11, the Building Material Reuse Association’s national conference on deconstruction, building materials reuse and C & D recycling to be held in New Haven, May 15-19, 2011.
